You would need to daisy-chain the two cabs and plug into the 16 ohm output.

2 8ohm in paralell = 4 ohm

Don't use the 2 8s. (if you had 2 16 ohm cabs you'd use the 2 8s)

 

What cabs are they?

If you can't use 2 4 ohm, you'll need to daisy chain them and use the 4 ohm.

One is a Mesa standard and the other is a Framus Dragon. Now that I think about it the Mesa has a few different outputs on the back panel. Maybe I haven't figured it out.

The outputs on the Mesa are parallel. It's safe to run one cable into the Mesa and then one cable from the Mesa into the Framus.

 

Use the 4 ohm output on your amp.

Just, like...connect the two cabs together.

There's a jack on the Mesa marked "Output", right?

Plug a cable from that into whatever input you'd normally use on the Framus (I'm guessing 8 ohm, since you said that it's an 8-ohm cab).
