Members LedZep1985
I use my red stripe Peavey Bandit 112 as a backline for an open mic that I co-host every Saturday night. Earlier this week, I was playing the amp in my basement, and I noticed that the lead channel has gotten significantly louder than it usually is with the post gain knob set very low. I tried bringing down the pre-amp gain a bit, and it still was quite loud. I almost always have it set on the vintage channel. I've been using that amp when I have a open jam set at the open mic every week. For now until I truly know what it is, and get it resolved, I'll use my Keeley TS-9 Mod Plus for a lead tone through the clean channel, which has no volume issues. Anyone have an idea of what could be wrong with the lead channel's volume?
Members Sweep?
Nope. I've never had problems with mine and mine's from the 90's.
Members olgluefoot
Not sure My loop buffer switch was stuck half way in once and boosted the overall volume quite a bit. But it was on both channels. Hope you get it figured out
