Members monkeysuit
I'm thinking about swapping the P50Es with Vintage 30s or even an X-Pattern with G12K100. Will this work or is the Fatbottom designed for the P50E and will sound like crap with other speakers?
Members petelaramee
I played a FB 4x12 as my main cab for a few years and couldn't stand the P50s. I used V30 and eventually settled with the Century Vintage for the FB cab. FWIW - FB cabs originally came with V30s until VHT and Emi came up with the P50. Members monkeysuit
So how did it sound with the V30s? I tried a lot of cabs and I definitely wanna go the V30 way now and probably experiment with x-patterns.

I don't remember if I tried any speaker mixing when I had those cabs.
Members hairydangler
Ive got the Fatbottom 2x12 and it came special order from the factory with Celestion G12T-75s. Its a damn fantastic cab. Love it. I usually run it with a Mesa 2x12 with Celestion V30s.
