(I'm stuck on Celestion) The trouble is this- I used to own a Hot Rod Deville with 2-12". The speaks were too shrill and trebly, not unlike a lot of Fender amps. I replaced the speakers with G12Hs and they were just as shrill and obnoxious. This sours me on the G12H's. (But maybe it was the Hot Rod's fault?) I play some jazz sounding stuff often, other times I play intense hard rock (not metal). I think I'd prefer speakers that are mellower rather than sharper. Any ideas?
