Members hoerni
Hey guys, this is more of a DIY repair question than a true DIY question. I just got a Boss pedal off of ebay. It's in good shape except for 2 things. The rubber grommet around the thumbscrew hole is broken and the footswitch is broken. Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement footswitch? Alos, is the grommet special, or will I be able to stretch a regular hardware store variety cicular one. TIA
Members Jeremy Skrenes
Contact Boss customer support for the footswitch. You might want to get the grommet while you're at it. A regular grommet might work, or you can go without.

Well I did some searching and found I can get a switch for a DS-1 from Small Bear. link here Not 100% sure it would work but it looks good. Hopefully I won't have to worry about it now. I was in a Guitar Center today and they had a smashed pedal on display next to a sign for gear insurance. The little footswitch part was still intact, so I offered to buy it. The sales guy handed me pair of scisssors and let me have it for free. Also picked up a used DS-1 to mod for $20.

Members frankencat
Edster, you still have these? I need one and I don't want to buy a big ol bag of em just to fix one pedal. I'll drop a couple of bucks in the mail no sweat, just let me know. Thanks -Frank
