on the website they had different variations of it.

"With this setup, you have a sort of "Sansamp" of Fuzz Faces. You will be amazed for hours as you swap transistors and caps until you go completely insane. My advice would be to keep a log of your favorite "settings" as I have done below:

1. "Metal Face" Hi-Gain Thrasher!

Q1=2N7000

Q2=2N7000

C in=0.01uF

C out=0.1uF

2. "MOS Face-ish" Jack Orman-ish

Q1=2N5088

Q2=2N7000

C in=0.1uF

C out=0.1uF

3. "Face MOS" Touch Sensitive

Q1=2N7000

Q2=2N5088

C in=0.1uF

C out=0.022uF

4. "1970 Fuzz Face" Classic B.O.G.

Q1=2N3904

Q2=2N5088

C in=2.2uF

C out=0.1uF

5. "May Queen II" Treble Boosted

Q1=2N5088

Q2=J201 *watch the pinout!

C in=0.01uF

C out=0.1uF

6. "Muscle Face" Arnold Schwarzenegger Tone!

Q1=2N7000

Q2=J201 *watch the pinout!

C in=0.1uF

C out=0.1uF

7. "1967 Fuzz Face" Jimi at Monterey

Q1=NPN Ge

Q2=NPN Ge

C in=2.2uF

C out=0.1uF

8. "Easy Face-ish" Joe Gagan-ish

Q1=2N3904

Q2=NPN Ge

C in=0.1uF

C out=0.1uF"

here's a clip of the fuzz pedal, showing how nicely it cleans up. All the gain changes were with guitar volume knob.

Awesome chops and great tone. Love the in-between tones where the clean "mixes" in with the fuzz. Strat?

thanks, it's my squier '51. The pedal is really responsive to guitar volume changes.
