Members andthenurse
Took some pics of the guts of my Powertran Black Hole for a fellow forumite who has the same pedal (but somewhat mutilated) - just wondered if any of the more learned comrades here would be able to deduce whether the pedal was true bypass or not? Many thanks. ' alt='>'>

Members mumford
I would suspect it does not, since none of the wires from the switches go directly to the jacks, but maybe they used straight leads across the board to keep wire length down. Members Prog
Using a regular ohm meter can help you find out. A schematic always has the answer.

Members olcircuits
In most cases, you can tell by disconnecting the power and playing through it while bypassed. If there is no sound when bypassed, the input is not going straight to the ouput jack. I say "most cases" because a few pedals have relay switching and may be true bypass even if the above test doesn't work.
