Members Holy-diver
A# = Bb...... To tune to drop Bb, tune the 6 up half a step.
Members exafro
Just make sure the person isn't an idiot and knows the difference between drop Bb and Bb standard.

Members thinkpad20
are the remaining 6 tuned up half a step? Presumably by drop Bb tuning you mean Bb-F-A#-D#-G#-C-F, so yes.

Members ThrashensteiN
OLD Emmure isn't that bad, and the little hate war between them and Vince of Acacia Strain is ever so entertaining

Members StillRock
I tend to think that drop Bb would actually be like tuning a 6 string to Eb then dropping the 6th string a step... perhaps like Ab Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb... or am I giving too much of the benefit of the doubt... That would be Drop Ab. Doing what you're talking about would be like calling Drop D "Drop E". Don't make no sense. I very briefly (Read: For about a week) played in Drop B on a 7-string, yeah, tuning the higher 6 up a whole step. With 10's.
