Members sahlomonic
I just picked up a quad of Scumbags from a buddy of mine for $225. Two SA-16 and two SAM-75. Put them in my empty Avatar traditional cab and did a quick test with the Jet City JCA100H. I didn't have a voltmeter to make sure it was wired correctly, but I got sound and am good for now. When I get home tonight I'll hook up the voltmeter to confirm, then start loving them. Anyone else have experience with these? Here's a quick clip: http://www.netmusicians.org/index.php?section=user&value=sahlomonic

Members superflyinmonke
From what I understand, that's a sick {censored}ing deal. I've been interested in these as well, but I want to know what their Greenback model is. That sounds really great.
Members FastRedPonyCar
Heard it yesterday after I uploaded one of mine. I dig! You ever get to mess with the bias at all?
Members PlinytheWelder
I've got 2 in 2x12 and if you like British type speakers, they're the best new ones out there... The Greenback type is the M75...
Members sahlomonic
FRPC - Haven't messed with the bias at all. Long work days coupled with 2 computers I have to rebuild for my brother before I can have time to play with the JCA. Barely had time to install the speakers on Sunday. Oh, and the settings in the pic are what I recorded that clip with (see OD volume at 1.5 )
Members FastRedPonyCar
yeah man the bias makes an enormous difference. stock power tubes are perfectly fine if the bias is set to the right spot. only your ears can tell you where that spot is.
