Members sleewell
ClearSonic A2-4 Amp Shield in the ever present quest to turn my amp up as loud as it goes and #1) not go deaf and #2) keep a good mix with other band members i think this thing may work or at least help. recently i bought a hot plate and love it but the issue remains: when you stand right in front of a 4x12 its really loud. what do you think?? Members charveldan
I've been meaning to get one of those for 2 years, but i always forget, Joe Bonamassa uses one similar to that.
Members MetalHed
They want a hundred bucks for a few sheets of plexi glass? Looks like something someone could make for $20. Am I missing something? Is it made out of some sort of fancy space age material with special sound reflecting/absorbing characteristics?

Is it made out of some sort of fancy space age material with special sound reflecting/absorbing characteristics? yeah it was just a reference, more for the idea than the actual product. i just noticed today that standing in front of the 4x12 is much different than say 10-20 feet off on a diagonal. you see drummers using these, not as many guitar players. i am sure you could build one for very cheap. Members FastRedPonyCar
they work really well but you can make your own with the nice thick panels from lowes or home depot and some metal cabinet hinges. If you have an open back cab though, turning the cab around backwards is just as effective. That's what I do.
