Members troyri
Just got a TSL and was wondering since it has a adjustable FX mix knob. Can I jump the effects send and return and use the FX loop switch on the foot pedal as a adjustable lead boost? Or is it like the PV XXX and I don't need to do anything? Members Sixtonoize
Maybe. The best bet is to try. You're not going to hurt anything.
Members thermionic geek
No, Its not a series loop. The only way it will work like that is to leave the effect send side unplugged. There are drawbacks however. The more you turn the effect level up to lower the volume, the bassier the tone becomes as well. Not really a bad thing at low volumes but not really a good representation of what the amp sounds like loud. Which, like any other Marshall this amp needs to be to sound it's best. Members JSutter
Which TSL do you have? I had the 60 watt head. I dont remember being able to boost with it.
Members troyri
I have the 60 head. I didn't know if it would work or not thats why I asked. I remember my XXX would work as a boost without anything plugged in so I thought maybe this one would do the same.
