Members bohemoth
So the "high" channel on my mig100 isn't working. The "lo" channel works fine, but on the high channel there is hardly any sound. Narrowing it down, it looks like it is probably one of the capacitors around the socket for the preamp tube that makes another gain stage. I am going to try replacing them, but if anyone has any other suggestions or has had this problem before, i'd love any input. Also, if anyone has a schematic for the 100 they could send me it would be great. I've just been going by the schematics for the 50 and the 100h. Members BigBone
The signal also goes through the low input jack, that is another possible place you could be losing signal if the switch on that jack is going bad. The shielded wires are also kinda cheap, and can break at the solder joint easily if messed with. I don't have a schematic for it but I do have a mig100.
