Members mcr23 Posted March 9, 2011 Members Share Posted March 9, 2011 I hear what the OP is saying about the gain on CH3. My good friend has one ans we spent a week dialing it in. IT souds good but we both think the Quad preamps Mark III channel has way more bite and even the studio preamp is a bit heavier (and way more open sounding). Bottom line is that I'm keeping my studio/quad/295 rack.
