Members hairydangler
Just keep playing at least an hour a day so long as you dont get blisters. Recently I took about a 6 months hiatus from guitar. Got the band back together a few weeks back and to get my chops back I played at least an hour a day a couple weeks prior. I had no problem with my fingertips, just a little sore after the first looooong rehearsal.I found my biggest issue was rebuilding the callous on my right ring finger where I anchor on the pickup cover and actually put a bandaid on that to keep it from blistering. Also the side of my left thumb on my fretting hand where I grip the neck. Played my guitar for 2 and half hours last night and my fingers huuuuuuuuuuuuurt.I'm such a noob.
