Members teleman55
I've used this setup before, but lately it seems to be solidifying. Other than places with a backline, places or times I've got to travel light, or bigger places where I substitute my Pro Reverb in place of the Deluxe Reverb, here it is:Fender Deluxe Reverb and a Crate V32 Palomino a/b but not together (y). Pedalboard in front, plus a Phase 90 and a delay in the Crate's loop. I'm really liking this with the main band I'm with now. This is for this band , which is R&B, Soul, Funk, strays into rock and blues sometimes. Original and singers versions of existing songs. DR is a silverface, Palomino is USA made, if that info is of use.Anyway, I really like this, setup, nice variety of tones, etc. I do play the Fender more than the Crate. Members thenakedarab
Sounds like a perfect rig for what you're doing. Congrats, it's nice to be happy with what you got, and not feel like you have to keep dumping money into your gear to be happy.
Members teleman55
Yeah. The Fender is what it is, which is great. That Crate, it's an over the top amp, but once you get the right tubes in it that don't get noisy, it is an amazing amp. Kinda like Vox meets Ampeg meets Marshall, but in the end, it's own sound. Members soundgardener75
I guess judging by your username, I don't have to ask what guitar you use.
Members teleman55
Yeah (lol). Actually, this weekend I used my Strat for almost a whole gig and an Agile LP copy for the rest.
