Members mikenothing
Anyways, dual rectifier actually have rectifier tubes. Singles do not. Duals have the option of using the rectifier tubes, or not. Dual rectifiers come in 3 channel versions, while the singles only have 2 channels. Dual rectifiers have 4 power tubes, singles have 2. (50 watt vs 100watt) Check out mesa boogies website for more details on the differences. As far as sound they both sound great. I always found that the singles have a more loose distortion, while the dual is a bit tighter. If I were gonna get a single recto I would go for the rectoverb. Have owned several. I think the rectoverb is a GREAT amp for the money!

Members mikenothing
whats a good price for Rectoverb. In this market (buyers market) I would pay 650-800 for the head and 675-850 for the combo. Depends on the series and condition of the amp. I have bought a combo and a head before for $600 each, so the prices I list are reasonable.
