Members jseldis
Hello, I've just finished building my first computer from all new parts, had an experienced friend help me out with the last bit... We plugged the computer in, turned on the PSU, pressed the power button on the front...and nothing happened.Have also tried power-up with the case open, and when the PSU is switched on at the back, there's a little green LED on the Motherboard which lights up...but when the front power button is pressed....nothing. I'm positive i've plugged everything in like it says in the motherboard guide... What could be the problem? Josh
Members mistercoffee1
Double check that the Processor and Memory are plugged in correctly and completely. Then, did you wire the Power switch (in front) correctly into the motherboard? Members SymenTimmermans
If it's an Intel board, I believe there should go two connectors from the PSU to the motherboard. I made that mistake once before. I forgot the small 2x2 pin connector. It should be plugged in near the processor somewhere... This knowledge is a few years old so I could be wrong. Members alam
Check the connections between the power switch on the case and the motherboard.

Members FuzzShifter
Double check that the Processor and Memory are plugged in correctly and completely. If the power's hooked up properly, and you don't get any beeps...this could be your problem.
Members Killa J
I helped out a friend who apparently broke one of the pins on the mobo where the power switch connects. I ended up soldering one of the wires to the broken pin. Check the actual pins where the power switch connects to make sure they're all good. I don't know if that's a common problem or not, but they are pretty small, so I guess they wouldn't be too hard to break.
