Members Andrius
Laney VC, LC and Lionheart - what's the difference between these series?
Members knope
The difference between the VC and the LC is the V -> L and the difference between the LC and the LH is the C -> H so the total difference is (12-22) + (8-3) = -5 The VC is super versatile and can play just about anything, the other two I don't have any experience with, but Laney makes pretty good amps... Members tele62
VC = Vox AC15/AC30 clones (ish). Good, with Celestion Blues it'd sound great.LC = Cheap jack-of-all-trades valve amp, neutral voice and quite a bit of gain. Let down by crap speakers.Lionheart = Midrange 'boutique' blues/rock amp. Pretty nice.
Members timmyfirst
depending on the VC model and the LC model really. The vc15's & 30's are vintage voiced split channels amps with modern features. The LC's are more modern voiced with more features but still that core laney tone. Lionhearts are the top end Laneys, based around the VC platform but with top notch components.
