NAD - Marshall...

Nothing major or earth shattering here, but always fun to get a new (used) amp. This one's a 1980's Marshall 5010 Master Lead Combo - 30 watts, 1 -12", solid-state. It sounds pretty nice as is, but I have an Avatar modified Celestion G12H (Hellatone 30) that I'm going to drop in. I'm sure it will sound even better although will add some weight to the amp. I'm playing the Marshall with a Mesa Boogie V-Twin preamp in front, which really adds some sweet tube mojo to both the clean and crunch tone - a great combination. Also using a Zoom G2.1Nu multi-fx and Eventide Pitchfactor and may sometimes run it in stereo with my Mesa Boogie Studio 22+.

A strange thing about the amp is that someone did some mods to it and put a line out on the back (even though there is one on the front panel) as well as a midi jack. Since its a single channel amp, I can't figure out why it would need a midi connection. Any ideas?
