Members Ovid9
Apparently there are 80000000 varieties of them on ebay. I'm guessing some are better than others, but I don't need anything super fancy. I just want one that will help clean up the noise the crappy wiring in my house introduces. They seem pretty damn plentiful on ebay, so I figure I'll be able to snag one cheap sooner or later, but I'd like some idea on which one is a better deal to grab. Thanks bros. Members Ovid9
How much you willing to spend? That might be helpful to know huh? It looks like a variety go for about $55-70 shipped fairly regularly on ebay.
Members Sixtonoize
You're going to need to spend around $500 if you actually want to "clean up noise."Anything less than that, and you're probably looking at a rackmount power strip. Granted, the extra cleanliness and convenience that a rackmount strip adds to a rack is totally worth it, IMO...but don't expect one to do a damn thing about dirty power. Ain't gonna work dude. Those power conditioners are just rack mounted power strips. What you need is a voltage regulator and those are not cheap. I was hoping...but damn. Ah well. Saved me $50.
Members LA-Ü-RA
The AR-1215 is a nice unit for voltage regulating and power conditioning but used price would still be around $400. I got mine from Loop (demo model) so you might check with him.
