Members Daveborn2rock Posted February 11, 2012 Members Share Posted February 11, 2012 Hey All, So this week my Peavey Ultra 112 started making loud rattling noises when i turn it up past 4. I'm almost positive that this has something to do with the increased vibrations of playing at loud volumes and isn't actually an amp problem. After tightening every screw I could find, I'm starting to think I might have damaged the speaker. Like I said it sounds good at low volumes but turned up it gets a rattle that sounds kind of like it's farting. Anyway if you don't think it's the speaker let me know, but assuming it is, what are some good cheap speakers I could replace it with (min 60watts).
