GGG pedal mod

I would like to build the General Guitar Gadgets StratoBlaster fat boost kit, but I would like to incorporate a gain pot in it to also use it as a low drive pedal. Here's the site:

And on a less important note, if you can find an easy way to add an eq pot, that would be great, but that really isn't as important.
