Members Soundstorm
Can't decide. Looking for one that's intuitive and works best for live recording. Therein pretty much a minimalist when it comes to effects, tho there might be some synth. Anyone know both well enough to help me choose? Thanks dudes
Members MattACaster
Personally, I'd go Reaper. It's very lightweight and stable.

Members Cibyl
I've not used Logic -- I have a small Pro Tools rig. Still learning but I have a few friends that expert level users so I leverage them for knowledge a lot.
Members Dehumanize
I have both of these and prefer Pro Tools 10. But, if you're mostly doing home recordings or whatever, then Logic 9 is much cheaper and the stock plugins are better than Pro Tools'. Pro Tools doesn't start to shine until you get into 3rd party plugins and hardware. If you want something intuitive and simple, and want to save money, then Logic 9 is the answer.
