Members trey85stang
Anyone know of any schematics and layouts for a tube buffer pedal? Ive searched the interwebs and havent found anything. Anyone know of anything? Worst case I would settle for an analouge buffer pdeal.
Members el_tonto
Have a read of this http://www.tubecad.com/2007/04/blog0103.htm The first circuit shown is probably an adequate start. The value of Rk is dependent on the tube and the HT voltage (which may be subject to whatever transformer you can get your hands on). It's such as simple layout you can probably do point-to-point wiring.

I plan to use a 12ax7.

Moderators AMZ-FX Posted October 26, 2008 Moderators Share Posted October 26, 2008 One of the sub-miniature tubes can be powered by low voltage and would make a nice buffer... the 6088 tube comes to mind, and I think you could power it with a common wall-wart power supply. I'll look up the datasheet on it. regards, Jack
