DIY Tube Buffer pedal?

The first circuit shown is probably an adequate start. The value of Rk is dependent on the tube and the HT voltage (which may be subject to whatever transformer you can get your hands on).


It's such as simple layout you can probably do point-to-point wiring.

 

 

that looks perfect to try, ill have to do some math which isuck at but that is a great link. I plan to use a 12ax7.

One of the sub-miniature tubes can be powered by low voltage and would make a nice buffer... the 6088 tube comes to mind, and I think you could power it with a common wall-wart power supply. I'll look up the datasheet on it.
