Members framushead
Basically.. what effects unit is gonna be best for me and the 5150III 50w . Looking for something that gives the joy of channel switching and with effects loaded during the switching process. I'm a minimalist when using effects.. delays.. chorus , reverb... phaser/flangers. Mainly looking at Line 6 products.. I know I would be doing the 4 cable method and a midi cable involved. POD xt live POD x3 live POD HD500 Other than that... is there any others I might have missed? Or pro's or con's to the Line 6 units i posted about.

Members Mr R Gecko
I used an M13 with mine. Was great. Does all that you asked. The only con would be to watch for ground loops when using the 4CM. I had to cut the ground on my leads at the amp end to kill it, but no biggie. Members framushead
What exactly was happening with the ground loops?
Members Mr R Gecko
When you use the M13 in the 4CM, I've experienced it causing ground loops when the loop is switched on. This is with both a 5150III and a JVM. I think the Pods have a ground lift switch if you go that route but the same is achieved by cutting the ground on your leads. Apparently Planet Waves sell cables with no ground at one end for this kind of thing.
