Members Snappy Hat
Oakland, but I'll be going to SF and San Jose so anything along the way... The new 11,000 square foot Guitar Center is in Emeryville which skirts Oakland. In Berkeley off Shattuck ave is Starving Musicicans Guitars . SF has Real Guitars with high end vintage stuff http://www.realguitars.com/ For a joke theres Subway Guitars in Berkeley , really funky and lots of crap but its an experience.Last time I was there Taj Mahal and Les Claypool from Primus was there hanging out. Joe Satriani used to teach out of Subway . Michael Franti from Spearhead used to work there . Its still a hippie {censored} hole and the owner is a lovehim or hate him type of guy.
