Members ChristianTimn Posted October 17, 2013 Members Share Posted October 17, 2013 So I got home after about 3 days of constant amp use at fairly high volumes, and when I got home and plugged it in, there was no guitar signal, just humming. So I took the protectors of the tubes, and noticed one of the preamp tubes wasn't glowing. So I replaced it, and that one lit up, so I assumed that was the problem. I plugged it in again, and there was still humming through the regular input, but if I turn the volume up all the way on the distortion channel, I can get a little bit of the guitar signal to come through. On the low gain input, however, I can get much more volume on both the clean and dirty channels, but there is still not much volume and constant humming/buzzing. I have been without my amp for 4 weeks now, and it is starting to get really irritating. If anybody knows what the problem might be, I would GREATLY appreciate any advice. Thanks.
