Members bfglp
i just swaped out the O.E. ceramic with a sprague black beauty on my les paul bfg. i am a huge fan of fat glassy tube amp tone and i would need to have a switch between the two caps to here a difference. what it did do for my guitar that i love is it made the tone pot dim at a slower rate. now i have a broader sweep to find the sweet spot. Members katillac
It is amazing when you look at the sound that the combination of a guitar and great tube amp can make just setting the gain up around 6-7 and pushing some volume. That alone is great but if you add in moderation some a nice effect or maybe 2, it truly shows how less is really more. Just like a great cook, season well but simple flavors are by far the best and over seasoning can kill any dish. I just read that last sentence in a realllllly wrong way. That's what I get from hanging around with you guys and your innuendo. :poke:
