Members superdrive
is there a good 12 string guitar for fingerstyle players?
Members foolishpride
Taylor and Guild are probably two of the best. A new Taylor 355 will set you back about $1150. A new Guild jumbo will set you back about $1400. Seagull makes a nice 12 string also, but I'm not sure of the nut width. You probably want a nut width wide enough so that there is plenty of room between the sets of strings in order to fingerpick. I believe the Taylors and Guilds have 1.875 inch nut widths. Tacoma 12 strings are also 1.875 inch nut widths. I would love to play a Tacoma JF1912. They look beautiful. Checking out E-bay for a good used one would be an option. Members Cams
Might be worth checking out Fingerpick's Legend Andromedan:http://www.legendguitar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=499 He describes it almost as well as he plays it!!!
