Members play4him
Bill does excellent work. I've ordered TRC's from him before. He is a class act.

Members cstime
Man, that's awful purty. What's the functional difference between a wooden pickguard and a whateverthey'reusuallymadeoutof one? Does it help tone?
Members orsino
cstime....I'm not sure. I think that a plastic or wood guard of that size and thickness has little effect on tone IMO. Carle....not sure where Bill lives but here's his website http://www.nicholsguitars.com/index.htm Talked to him on the phone. Seems like a really nice person. Members Unk
Carle, I think Capt. Bill lives in Maryland.Orsino, awesome pickguard on an awesome guitar. Isn't it cool that we can take something we love and buy it a present.Capt. Bill made me a TRC for my Breedlove that came out great. Don't have the Breedlove anymore, unfortunately, but I still have the TRC. (Saving it for my next Breedlove.)
