Members wadsworth
I'm just looking for some suggestions for a relatively inexpensive, yet overall decent quality mandolin. I dont really want to limit myself with prices although i dont want ridiculously expensive options. I don't know very much about mandolins so if you could help me out if you have any knowledge on the subject. Thanks in advance...btw- new or used is not really an issue. Members seven7
go over to:http://www.mandolincafe.com and ask your question. it's a great mandolin forum. my recommendation is the mid-missouri m-0. i had one of these when i was playing some mandolin. it's all solid wood, hand-made, has a VERY sweet sound, and it's got a lot of volume. but it also depends on your style of play i guess. it sells for around $400 at a good price. i bought mine from:http://www.elderly.com they have a big selection of new and used mandolins. here's the mid-missouri mandoline website:http://www.midmomandolin.com call them or email them if you have any questions. they're quite helpful...
