Members bigmo66 Posted January 25, 2004 Members Share Posted January 25, 2004 In our short, but busy time as an Unofficial Tacoma Guitar Forum, we have decided to pursue Tacoma to build us a custom guitar for members and the custom shop is more than willing. The one requirement is an order for 5 identical guitars. We have committments for 3-4, and hope to get as many as we can. We aren't in a rush, but I just want to put the word out if anyone else may be interested. We have thus far agreed on the basic model & specs: Little Jumbo, deep-bodied (4.75"), non-cutawaySpruce topRosewood B&SCurly Maple bindingEbony fingerboard & bridgeAbalone rosetteNo fret markers (still in debate)Custom laser-etched "UTGF" labelPossible custom marking at 12th fretSequential numbering to productionHSC These Grand auditorium, deep bodied LJs sound fantastic either fingerpicked or strummed and obviously will be extremely limited.
