Members feedbacK
Tacoma's DM9 and DM18. I'm been looking (not in person as of yet) at these for a 12 string. How are they different? Is either one "better" (subjective, I know) than the other? Thx! feedbacK
Members foolishpride
The differences are mostly cosmetic. They are both solid wood, mahogany back and sides, solid spruce top. The DM912 has a satin finish and the DM1812 has a gloss finish. The DM1812 has a herringbone purfle. And the biggest difference is price. The DM912 will run about $750 and the DM1812 will run about $1100. Haven't played their 12 strings but I love my Tacoma 6 string DR-12. It's a cannon.
