Members SmallDave
I have an Ibanez Performer 200 in a lovely blue finish. Its not much but I love it. Today I was moving my stereo speakers and one fell over and put a dent the size of the butt of a pen in the front of my guitar. Its about 2 inches from the bridge and I think if it had hit anywhere else it would have went right through. My question is, will a guitar tech be able to patch it up? I imagine the blue finish will make it alot harder but if anyone could suggest anything I'd be very, very grateful. I felt sick after it happened. Members 54merk
If it's just a dent you're better off leaving it alone. If the wood was cracked then it's more serious, and could cost more to fix than the instrument is worth.
Members 1boogieman
I had a naked lady mud wrestler knock my guitar into the lower mantle of a rock fireplace and put a hole the size of a pen butt on the front, top left. I put a sticker over it.....still there......happened in 1970.
