Members apostrophe Posted July 20, 2004 Members Share Posted July 20, 2004 so i took a trip to sam ash on my lunch break....for those of you who dont know sam ash is roughly a 3 minute drive from where i work so it makes for some nice lunch time fun! ive never actually seen a larivee, but there it was. figured id see what all the fuss was about.....not sure of the model but it was shaped much like a jumbo, with a cut-away. it was about $1100. i strummed her, i picked her, i looked at her. i thought she was sweet. very sweet. BUT at $1100 shes wayyyyy out of my range. at least for now, although when i go hunting for acoustic #3, she will be the first one i look into. for now i got a tak jumbo eg523sc on the way......i cant wait for that to finally ship!!!! It's weird that they carry some Larrivees, as they are not mentioned as a dealer on the Larrivee website. I didn't play any while I was there, I played a bunch of Martins though (including a D-18GE to die for) I have a Larrivee OM-03R, great little guitar. Where in the Philly area are you from?
