Members Jelly_belly_83
Around what level should I keep it at? My bedroom is about 12' x 23', so it's fairly big. I got it mostly for my Garrison because the thing is very easy to dehydrate in the winter time, and for future purchases. That and I like to leave my guitars out of their cases because I tend to play them more if I see them sitting there, instead of the case with their little planet waves humidifier. Even with those things, I find the neck dries out a bit still. So I think this a good solution, but wanted to know if there's such as a thing as too much humidity for an acoustic? Please fill me in guys! Thanks.
Members Carle
Guitars should be kept at 45 to 55%. You need a good hygrometer to measure the humidity with.
Members Jelly_belly_83
Thanks for your input, I'll be sure to go pickup one of those meters. I figured it was around there, but it had been months since I had read that info. Thanks!
