Members Delle_Rose
Hi. I'm considering buying a used Ovation acoustic, and was wondering what the difference between the OP series electronics are... Like, what makes the 24+ any different from the 20, or the 30 or 50 for that matter? What's the difference between sounds and which sounds the best? I wouldn't understand anything overly technical (forgive my ignorance!), so if you can explain it in a non-technical way, that would be wonderful and I'd be very very thankful. Ohk... that's all. Thank you so much!
Members yubetyerboots
i have an older 12 string glen campbell series.personaly i think you might just want to start playing on one.we all hear it differently. i love mine by the way.i've had it since 73-ish. it's been all over the country with me.it's even been drop-kicked off the front porch and that guy went to jail, now thats another story......it's held together with glue and wood screws and it still sounds glorious... i use a dean markly portable pickup whenever i want to plug in....good luck. Members Matt McGriff
look to http://www.ovationguitars.com/index.cfm?fa=electronics for info. The OP24+ is an older electronics package from Ovation. Sounds fine, just not modular, no tuner.

Members Whalebot
I just sold my O-30 equipped Celeb. and I LOVED it. The tone, control, everything was great. Unplugged, ehh, but it is a born gigging guitar!
Members THB
Ovation electronics are pretty good, but when you think about it, they have to be. How else are you gonna make a plastic guitar sound good?
