Hi,

How's everyone? I am think about getting a classical acoustic guitar so I can get those Latin type vibes implemented in my music. I wan an electric one so recording can be made easy. But I want to achieve all this without going broke. Does anyone have any suggestions on a particular acoustic electric (classical) that really stands out as a good buy?

Thanks for your help

What sort of budget are you on? La Patrie (made by Godin) offers some acoustic/electric nylon-string guitars with hardshell case for $600 or less, I believe. Very good bang fer the buck.

I have a La Patrie Etude (read reviews on this site) that I am quite please with so far. It's my first classical. It cost me $300 and the I got a L.R Baggs Element pickup installed that cost about $100. First pickup I've bought as well, but I think it has a very nice sound and the little wheel under your soundhole makes it easy to switch from playing with or without an amp. I also have a Boss RC-20 Loop Station that is a ton of fun to play with. It's good for practicing soloing. Good luck
