Members StratAttackJack
Is the best way really to just use a warm damp wash cloth? I think I read that in the paperwork that came with the guitar, but its been awhile and I lost it so I just want to clarify. I feel like if I use guitar polish it will hurt the satin finish somehow. Members Chirpy_72
I don't believe the polish would hurt the satin finish, but it's an unneeded expense. Satin finishes clean up nicely with just some water and a towel. I've used both polish and water on my lovely Taylor 414ce L10 ( satin finished back/sides ). Neither one works better than the other. So why waste cash on polish, when H20 is ( almost ) free ?
Members StratAttackJack
Thanks for the info. I've already got polish for my glossy guitars so I wouldn't have to spend any extra money, I was just curious if it'd hurt the guitar or not. I'll stick to the warm water though.
