Body depth on concert style guitars????

It seems this spec varies a bit on these types of guitars. I'm wanting something with more depth, well because I'm expecting more bass response with the depth. The guitars I'm looking at right now are the Johnson Carolina, Recording King, a couple Morgan Monroes, and the Silver Creek at MF. Any thoughts on these? Is the extra depth going to give me the bass response I'm looking for?

I have a MM 00-32. It's depth is about 4 inches, which
makes it somewhat deeper that standard. It has a ballanced sound, and the bass isn't lost. I attribute this to the deep body.

Thanks for the reply MePeel. The MM 00-32 was the main guitar I was looking at from MM. How do you like it?

I'm very satisfied with it. It has a ballanced tone, and the
V neck is comfortable to play. I also have a Walden G570 grand auditorium.
It has a cedar top, and also projects the bass quite well. The user reviews
page is quite educational. The chances of finding a review of the guitars that
you are considering are good.

I own a Silver Creek T-170 OM, which is nearly identical to the Johnson Carolina JO-27. Very minor differences in appointments---cheaper unbeveled pickguard (which I removed), fretboard dots rather than snowflakes (simpler is better to me), but essentially the same guitars in size, build, and woods. The Silver Creek was a steal for what I paid on a blem.
