Members KovachianOne
Where's the flamenco players out there? For anyone who cares I thought I'd share a photo story currently in progress, a flamenco cutaway by Jim Blilie of Barbarossa Guitars. I don't recall seeing any build threads for a nylon stringer so I figured I'd share. The guitar I'm having built isn't a blanca, nor is it a negra, based on the unconventional wood choice for the body. It won't be done for several more months but I couldn't resist showing off the few photos I have so far. 1951 Marcelo Barbero design, with several deviations: Argentine Osage Orange back and sides Bear-claw sitka top Spanish cedar neck Ebony for the fretboard and tuning pegs Indian RW for the binding, bridge and faceplate Bone nut and saddle 65cm scale, 52 mm nut 12 hole tie-block Shellac'd all over Click on the pic if you want to see an incomplete slideshow. There's not that many photos so don't expect to be too impressed!

Members KovachianOne
Well thank all ye for the kind remarks! Jim will include a CD-rom full of pics along with the guitar when it's done, so I hope to have a respectable album online by then. And a video clip or two. Damn I hate waiting!!!
