Members Absent
Other than Elderly and the store in A2, does anyone know of any good guitar stores in the area (SE Michigan / more specifically Hazel Park)? Other than our several Guitar Centers?
Members FussenKuh
Go here: http://www.thekrashsite.com/hcag/You can do it yourself, at least if the nut does not need work--that I leave for the pros (though I have replaced a couple). See one, do one...teach one! Thanks again for the advice, Rjoxyz. With a little bit of sanding and some new strings, my guitar is playing better now and my money is sill in my pocket I guess only time will tell if I'll remain happy with this setup, but, for now, I'm a happy camper. I was a little uncomfortable the first couple times I did it. After setting up a couple more, it became fairly routine. Just have to know what you are after and move deliberately. Can be tedious, but rewarding. Some web sites are really helpful, knowledge-wise as is Freeeman's original thread (now on the Annex).
