Members threecar
Tim Russert was a great and good American. He epitomized what it meant to be told that you could be what you wanted to be when we grew up. On keeping with the Guitar focus of this forum, his brother in law played an Alverez guitar on his "Born To Run. And as moved as I was by the Boss playing "Thunder Road" as a tribute to his friend, I still kept trying to see what Springsteen's guitar was. On the other hand God bless Tim Russert. Members Fred Fartboski
I heard the whole ceremony live on the internet yesterday. Immediately preceding Springsteen, Tim Russert's brother did a solo instrumental arrangement of "Born To Run" on acoustic guitar during the ceremony. I was really impressed. Did anyone catch that? Thanks for identifying the Alvarez, threecar. I remember the tone was really great.
