What guitar is this?

Hi there,

 

Does anyone know or have a clue what brand this is? There is only a serial number on top of it. Its 103 cm long and the body 40x 51 cm.

Appreciate any advice, thoughts, facts or wild guesses.

Is the pickup a good one and how old could it be?

Those pickups were very popular in the 1960s, mid to late, in particular. DeArmond pickups are making a comeback now, as a matter of fact. They sound a little thin, so, vintage fans love them when they hear them.

 

The pickup and jack are most likely an add-on here. I recall seeing that headstock shape, too, but, can't place it.

super -that solved 100% what kind of pickup and age.

 

Now its the guitar. The tuners looks old in the picture and if it was a Martin - its not - it would be rather old regarding the tuners and the placement of them.

Maybe that goes even for this guitar.

 

Any thoughts about what country?

Wild guess: Asian.

 

I've never really seen anything like that. The fretboard inlays are pretty distinctive, so maybe someone around here recognizes it. Sure is a pretty guitar.
