Members DarkHorseJ27 Posted November 26, 2008 Members Share Posted November 26, 2008 I've placed the order for the DiMarzio DP139 Acoustic Reference soundhole pickup that I decided to get. When I get it I'll adjust the pole piece (plugging into my Fender HRD), then I'll go out trying out a lot of acoustic amps, trying to find one I like. My questions is what should I get to plug in between the pickup and the amp. For preamps I've heard a lot of good things about the Baggs PADI. I've also heard the Behringer ADI-21 is a good budget premp. I've also just read a thread about the ART Tube MP thats got me interested. Before Chris Proctor switched to the Taylor Expression system he used soundhole pickups run through ART preamps and it sounded pretty good.
