(Series 2 has not been released on dvd) Collaboration of Scottish, American, Canadian, Irish musicians playing not just guitar but fiddle, harp, mandolin, double bass, bagpipes, flute etc. (you have not heard bagpipes played like this before. Trust me). Musicians from different backgrounds swapping ideas, styles, songs. 4 or 5 practice goes and then it gets recorded in front of the camera. No audience. Just sound and camera crew. Real musicians playing real music - and enjoying it. It's a real joy to watch. Check it out on youtube. Loads of clips there. Anyone else got any dvd favourites?
