Members PeaceLovinHippy
I tried asking in the amp forum and got ignored. Yamaha DG-80, w/ upgraded Eminence (dont know the model, older one though, label's gone) in perfect mechanical cond. but with a slightly bent high gain input jack (still works obviously)? How much should i ask? Thanks, PLH
Members miked58
Check out the review section at http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/Data/Yamaha/DG80_112-01.htm Some people list the used prices that they paid. This could help. Without the label/model/vintage of the Eminence speaker, I wouldn't expect this to affect the price too much IMO.
Members PeaceLovinHippy
Thanks for the quick reply. I checked the reviews but most of them are over 2 years old. I listed it locally at $425 and got as low as $350 without a single email of interest. Thats why i asked. Should i try eBay? What would be the best way to use eBay so that i make the most out of my amp? Thanks!
Members HamsterSandwich
I just ran a completed items search on eBay. Two sold in mid-April for $355 and $360. There's another one that Guitar Center listed twice and got no bids at their starting price of $449. I hope that helps.
Members PeaceLovinHippy
Should i start the auction at $300 or pull the "Bidding starts at one cent" thing? Is there enough demand to try the latter? Thanks!
Members miked58
I think it's fun to start an auction at 1 cent and it draws alot of traffic, but be sure to have a reserve set so you don't get stuck selling it for $32.57 BTW, I've found that peace loving hippies are cool folk.
