Last week I broke a string during a gig (thankfully towards the end of the last song), and this was after putting on a new set of strings the night before. Any one else have this problem? Any fixes? Members Prages Posted May 4, 2005 Members Share Posted May 4, 2005 I haven't had irregular string breakage on my Wilkinson. I did once break two strings during a single practice, but other than that I've never broken one. I chalked that one up to a bum set of strings. You might have a burr in the saddle or something.
