The 250k bleeds a little bit of the high end wich could make the humbucker a little warmer, possibly a better match to the single coils. I work on a lot of ESP, Ibanez & Fender guitars with S/S/H or H/S/H configurations & they all use 500k's, so go figure. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
