I did alot of testing(placement of coils, type of poles, color, factory of origin) and determined the no-names that were in the Nick Catanese prototype imports are the same.I LOVED them. big fat deep tone. Ever since I switched to a hot set of Tom Andersons, I have the smoothness that I like, plus the available attack and tons of dynamics that I've been wanting as well.
